Consultancy

Every aspect of garden making is important and consultancy during an initial site visit establishes priorities and helps to define your objectives. Out of the ideas explored, we crystallise a vision together, determining also what is feasible within certain constraints.
In a consultation expect us to be really curious about your sources of inspiration and the key features and functions your garden needs to include.
Our ultimate satisfaction comes from creating a garden alongside you that has personal meaning. A consultancy also involves noting the physical characteristics of the site: the aspect, exposure, soil type, surrounding environment, etc. Our consultancy fee is £125 for an hour and a half; however for more distant locations we may charge extra travel expenses. We are happy to have a phone conversation discussing some photos of your garden, before you commit to a consultation.

Please note, enquiries from overseas are also welcome. We are fluent French speakers. Greenmantle Gardens is based in the South-West of England, however, we welcome enquiries from the rest of the UK.

NB :- site survey. You may have paid another professional for a site survey which would include boundaries, all existing elements and features in the garden, and level changes. In small spaces, a survey is often not necessary ... Title deeds to your property may show the boundaries and the footprint of your house. Sometimes Google Earth can be used. The more information you can provide, the more we can keep costs down.
